Glens Falls BrewFest: Supporting the community for over 20 years
A beer, wine, and cider-tasting event at Cool Arena.

The 2025 Glens Falls BrewFest is a beer, wine, and cider-tasting event featuring local, regional, and national breweries. This year, it will be held on Saturday, May 3, on the Cool Insuring Arena floor in downtown Glens Falls.
The Brewfest’s origins began in 2010 when three ordinary beer-loving guys—a principal (Chris Reed), an optometrist (John Cordes) and a resort manager (Bill Mason)—came together to give Glens Falls one of its first beer festivals.
As dedicated community members, however, they wanted to see this BrewFest do more than satisfy a desire for handcrafted brews (although we consider that a noble cause). They wanted it to have a positive impact on the community.

This one-day event has contributed over $380,000 to the southern Adirondack community, thanks to sponsors and attendees. This year, all proceeds benefit The Feeder Canal Alliance, a local not-for-profit that makes our region unique.
About the Feeder Canal Alliance.
The Feeder Canal Alliance proudly serves as the dedicated steward of the historic Glens Falls Feeder Canal and the scenic 9-mile-long Towpath Trail, nestled in the picturesque landscapes of New York’s Warren and Washington Counties.
The Glens Falls Feeder Canal stands as a remarkable testament to New York's rich history, being the last remaining original canal still in operation. It was meticulously constructed to carry water continuously to the highest point of the Champlain Canal, showcasing the ingenuity of early engineering.
As visitors traverse the tranquil Towpath Trail, they can immerse themselves in the natural beauty and historical significance of this iconic waterway, which has been an essential lifeline for the region since its inception.
