Adirondack winter sports venues continue to thrive this week despite some periods of high winds and frigid temperatures. This winter, every place in the Adirondacks is experiencing above-average snowfall, with some areas having received as much as 17 feet of snow this season.

Some winter sports venues cap the number of guests each day. Check to see if tickets are available before you head to the mountain during peak holiday times.

This report is as of Friday morning, February 21. Trail conditions may change due to weather, skier traffic, snowmaking, and other factors. We highly recommend you visit ski area websites and webcams for the latest conditions.


New York State's largest ski resort, Gore Mountain, in the Adirondacks

Gore received 11” of snow in the past seven days. All four peaks and seven mountain areas are open. Visit Gore’s website for the most up-to-date conditions.

 

Whiteface reports 19” of fresh snow this week, for a season total of just over 13 feet of snow. Almost the entire mountain is open. Visit Whiteface’s website for the latest conditions.

 

Snow Ridge received 10” since Sunday, for a total of 207” for the season. It should be a super weekend for skiing. Check their website for the latest conditions.

Titus Mountain, Malone, NY

Titus received 30” of new snow since last Sunday. On Friday, 52 of their 52 trails were open, as well as their tubing hill. Visit their website for the latest snow report.

Oak Mountain Ski Area has 22 of 22 trails open, with 14” of new snow over the past week. The tubing park is also open. Visit Oak’s website for current trail conditions.

McCauley garnered 5” of new snow this week and has 100% of its terrain open. Visit their website for their latest snow report.
