If you hadn’t guessed, we’re big fans of this delightful store in Schroon Lake. The proprietors manage to get a lot of beautiful things inside this storefront right on Main Street in Schroon Lake Village. Remarkably, the shop is not overcrowded.
Yet, we are always amazed at every visit to find a variety of items, from sectional sofas to queen-size beds, an array of stemware, a plethora of Adirondack-inspired decor, jigsaw puzzles, handcrafted cards, and generally cool artifacts.
It’s a perfect place to find a special item to decorate your ADK home, a gift to bring your ADK hostess, or an attractive artifact to bring back home. The owners are refugees from Big City life and clearly appreciate the atmosphere and environment of North Country living. They also bring a wonderful design sensibility that results in distinctive, one-of-a-kind items that make every purchase special.
Oh, yeah, and by the way, there is a bakery, North Woods Bread Co., connected to the store with yummy breads, muffins, and other delectable treats, as well as a food market called Pine Cone Provisions.
