Back for two weekends in January, The Gem in Bolton Landing hosts its annual outdoor ice bar. This year’s theme is smoke and ice, and it’s sure to be very cool.

The Gem is a haven for cocktail connoisseurs in the Lake George area.

Winter is the best time for a hot toddy.

During ice bar season, why not channel your inner mixologist? Get your hands cool—quite literally—by learning the art of ice cube cutting from The Gem’s seasoned bartenders. It’s like a mini ice sculpting class, but with a delightful twist.

Indulge in The Gem’s curated selection of whiskeys that will make your taste buds do a happy dance. Try one of their unique, creatively concocted cocktails that are as much a feast for the eyes as they are for the palate.

Feeling the chill? Warm up with a hot toddy that wraps you in a cozy embrace, or kick back with a locally brewed beer that’s as refreshing as an Adirondack mountain breeze.

As you sip, take a moment to feast your eyes on the stunning ice sculptures that sparkle like diamonds in the winter sunlight. And for those chilly toes, settle in by one of the crackling firepits—the perfect spot to soak in the atmosphere while keeping your feet toasty.

The Gem’s ice bar will also be open on January 31 and February 1.
