Sagamore Golf Course
A natural golfing treat.
ADK Taste's intrepid golf correspondents are big fans of the Sagamore Golf Course. Beyond outstanding views of Lake George, this Donald Ross-designed property uses natural surroundings to give each hole its own challenging element and beauty. The course has won honors from Golf Magazine and other leading golf authorities.
This par 70 course is located on the mainland, adjacent to Lake George and Bolton Landing. Lush fairways are narrow and lined with hardwoods, while deep bunkers surround undulating greens. Ross put his personal stamp on the course using natural elements and native Scottish plantings. The course features a practice range, professional instruction and an award-winning Pro Shop. Shuttle service is provided between the golf course and the resort.
