CATSWomen is a volunteer-led group that offers a welcoming environment for women of all ages and abilities to gain confidence in the outdoors through Champlain Area Trails (CATS).
Join them for a 2.9-mile hike to a beautiful rocky summit with views of the High Peaks. The trail is moderately challenging and gains 790 feet of elevation in just under a mile and a half. The trail is fairly smooth with mild gradients, except for the upper part, where it becomes much steeper with rocks and some easier scrambling. There are several stunning views on the way to the summit.
The group will meet at the trailhead at 9:45 am. This hike should take about 3 hours. CATS advises hikers to dress in good layers for hiking. It is mud and bug season, so pack accordingly. And don’t forget snacks and water.
