If you're looking for an ideal getaway home rental in the High Peaks region, you should seriously consider Warner's Camp. This renovated 1800s guesthouse comprises three full-time bedrooms and two bathrooms while packing in the charm. There is a sunroom that can double as a fourth bedroom if needed.
The home is perched almost on top of the Ausable River. The living room features original 1800s exposed beams. A wood-burning fireplace keeps it cozy in the winter, while the space retains a refreshing coolness in the summer months. Go figure.
While visitors may be trying to get away from it all, Warner's Camp doesn't deprive them of all the tech they desire, including wifi. The living room Roku TV is equipped with Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming services. We love that they've also gone Old School with a record player, along with a record collection and rotary phone.
Enjoy the updated kitchen, complete with local black granite countertops with marble accents and brand-new, retro-style appliances (including a dishwasher and double ovens).
As for the two bathrooms, the downstairs bath includes an antique clawfoot tub and shower. The upstairs bath features a rustic galvanized bucket shower and classic tile finishes. We appreciate that the owners provide toiletries and linens.
P.S. They are dog-friendly. Woof.
