Generations of families have been visiting Trout House Village Resort on the northern end of Lake George in Hague, NY. The resort offers a wide range of affordable accommodations, most with kitchenettes, fireplaces, and living spaces for the whole family.

The property has a long history as a destination for vacationers dating back to the late 1800s. Today, visitors can choose to stay in one of the property’s log cabins, cottages, inn rooms, private homes with lake views, or the small motel.

There is even a “great camp” located three miles away in a secluded mountain setting. Camp guests have full use of Trout House amenities.
Guests appreciate all the activities available at Trout House, including access to canoes, kayaks, paddleboats and paddleboards for all the water sports. The resort boasts a 400’ sandy beach for swimming and sunbathing.

Also available at the resort are: putting green, bocce ball and croquet, shuffleboard, basketball, volleyball, soccer, whiffle ball, horseshoes, tetherball, ping pong, bicycles, and hiking trails.

The town of Hague has a picturesque park and boat launch. Stop at the Hague Market, the Adirondacks’ oldest running general store, for breakfast or lunch. They offer a selection of groceries, household goods, and gift items. The nearby village of Bolton Landing provides numerous restaurants and great shopping.

In the winter, guests staying in the log cabin chalets have access to kindling and firewood right outside their door. Downhill skiing, horseback riding, sleigh rides, snowmobiling and snow-tubing are all a short drive away. Be sure to book one of the cabins with a jetted tub to relax after enjoying all the winter sports and activities.

Families will find plenty to do and enjoy at Trout House Village at any time of year.
