A tradition for over 125 years, Saranac Lake’s Winter Carnival begins on Friday, February 2. Get ready for 10 delightful days of sports and games, live music, two parades, three fireworks displays, a stunning ice palace, and a variety of other fantastic activities.

Another Adirondack Park favorite winter event, the Lake George Winter Carnival, is celebrated every weekend during the month of February, beginning Saturday.
War Cannon Spirits in Crown Point is hosting a traditional Scottish Burns Night. At this super fun event, guests celebrate Scottish identity, literature, and camaraderie with a Burns Supper, live music, bagpipes, dancing, and a wee dram, no doubt. Kilts are encouraged but not required.
The Newcomb Snowmobile Club hosts the Northern New York Vintage Snowmobile Racing event. Watch vintage sleds tear it up on beautiful Lake Harris in the Central Adirondacks.
The Lagoon Ice Bar | Lake George Village | February 3-4, 2024
Lake George's Lagoon Ice Bar is open every weekend during Winter Carnival, and it's a perfect spot to take a break from all the Carnival fun while enjoying the nightly fireworks over the lake.
Looking to try snowshoeing or want to learn about winter in the Adirondacks? Visit Up Yonda Farms in Bolton and take one of their naturalist-led hikes on Saturdays.
