On the last Saturday in April, Independent Bookstore Day brings together the celebration of classics, entrepreneurship and the joy of browsing through aisles of books.
This year, the holiday falls on April 27th. The Book Nook in Saranac Lake is planning a day-long party to celebrate this great event with something for everyone to enjoy.
Among the planned festivities are:
Raptor Encounter - Noon to 1 pm: Experience the wild with Adirondack Raptors. Expert Raptor Wrangler Mark will be on site with his avian friends.
