Mt. Van Hoevenberg Bobsled Experience
Here’s your chance to get a taste of what it’s like to be an Olympic bobsledder.
Perhaps you’re missing the excitement of the recent Olympic games. Maybe the current geopolitical environment is too tame for you? Or are you tired of waiting for the next pandemic boot to drop?
Fear not. We have a fix for you in the ADK that will get your adrenaline pumping and your nerve ends tingling. It’s the Lake Placid Bobsled Experience.
First, though, let me disabuse you of any notion that you will command the sleigh. You will be sandwiched between professionals who will drive and guide the sleigh. If that disappoints you, too bad.
Second, this is not an experience for everyone. Some of us at ADKtaste.com were more than happy to let our colleagues take this spectacular ride.
Report from the field is that this is a major rush and while we were disappointed to not have any actual footage to share from our team’s trip, we found this awesome video on YouTube that accurately portrayed our team’s experience.
