Hike the Coon Mountain Trail with CATSWomen

Join CATSWomen (“CATS” stands for Champlain Area Trails) for a great spring hike along a 2-mile trail to a beautiful summit with views of spectacular Lake Champlain.
The Coon Mountain trail is a beginner-to-moderate hike that gradually gains just under 600 feet of elevation. Upon reaching a rocky summit, a stunning view of Lake Champlain and the surrounding peaks rewards hikers for their efforts.
Hike details:
The group will meet at the trailhead at 9:45 am off of Halds Road in Westport
Round-trip hike duration should take about 2 hours
Dress in layers for hiking
Bring snacks and water
