Lookit, if you REALLY want to get away, your best option might be the log cabin at Peace Ridge.

As the name implies, this Great Camp-inspired cabin sits on 135 wooded acres of private Adirondack woodlands. Peace and quiet? You’ve got it. Visitors can take advantage of miles of marked private trails for jogging, biking, hiking, X-country skiing, and snowshoeing without encountering a soul (or a-hole).

The cabin consists of two bedrooms with king-size beds (convertible into twins), a well-equipped kitchen, and super comfortable living spaces. Bedrooms share one bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Enjoy spectacular views from the commodious covered porch that looks directly at Whiteface Mountain Range. The large fire pit is a fantastic place to contemplate the day's adventures and reconnect with family over s'mores campfire songs.

Other amenities include:

  • Indoor fireplace

  • Washer and dryer

  • Dog-friendly

  • Wifi

  • Grill

  • Firepit

As stated earlier, guests at Peace Ridge have exclusive access to 135 wooded acres of land, with trails for hiking, jogging, and dog walking. Yet, despite all of this privacy and seclusion, visitors are just seven minutes from Whiteface Mountain ski resort and 20 minutes from bustling Lake Placid Village.

Find some inner Peace Ridge.
