The Lake George Baking Company is a family-owned business in operation for over 35 years in the Lake George region.
Customers can choose from a wide variety of bakery treats, including various European desserts, pastries, unique cookies, custom wedding cakes, birthday cakes, and special occasion cakes made to order.
But it’s the Fudge Fancies we are addicted to. As Lake George Baking Company’s website proclaims, Fudge Fancies are the happy marriage between fudge and cookie that consists of a generous swirl of richly textured chocolate fudge on top of a crumbly sugar cookie base. Long-time fans refer to it as "the dessert cookie.”
The Baking Company will also make miniature Fudge Fancies for favors at weddings and special events. But why? You’re just going to eat four miniatures when you could’ve had just one standard size.
No matter what size Fudge Fancy you go for, the other baked goods at the Lake George Baking Company are just as yummy. Treat yo’ self!
In addition to the Lake George Village store, the Baking Company operates a second location in Queensbury, just east of Exit 19 of the Northway.
