Celebrating the Fourth of July in Tupper Lake

The Fourth of July is coming, and things are heating up in the ADK. School’s out, summer is in full swing, and we are ready to celebrate America’s Independence Day. After all, Fort Ticonderoga on Lake Champlain was the site of the first American victory in the Revolutionary War. Just sayin’.

In 2023, the 4th falls on a Tuesday, so we are taking full advantage and have planned out an entire week of fun activities.

Here’s a round-up of events and happenings for the 4th of July in the Adirondacks.

4th of July spectaculars.

Several towns in the Adirondacks will host day-long and even multi-day events to celebrate July 4th.

  • Ticonderoga’s Best 4th in the North begins on Saturday, July 1st and lasts four days. Festivities include rides, games, and live music. The revelry culminates in an all-day celebration on — July 4th, complete with a parade and fireworks.
