The lodge offers several rooms, including standard hotel offerings and two-room options with kitchenettes. 

Hungry Trout offers the Saranac Lake Cabin for those looking to truly get away. Guests can access this property only by water; there is no road access. A Hungry Trout staff member will meet you and load your gear into a motorboat. After a 10-minute boat ride, you’ll arrive at your private shoreline camp.

Following a quick tour around your new private hideaway, you will captain the boat back to the parking area and drop the staff member off at the dock, where s/he will turn toward you and wave goodbye.

The two-bedroom cabin has a complete kitchen with a gas stove, double sink, refrigerator, and utensils. Guests have full use of a Weber gas grill on the porch. A hot shower is in the bathroom, and all linens, gas for the motor and an Old Towne canoe are included.

While at the cabin, enjoy a private dock and fun swimming, fishing, boating and canoeing in the unsurpassed beauty of Saranac Lake.

The Hungry Trout offers a second “get-away” at the log cabin at Peace Ridge. This two-bedroom cabin sits on 135 wooded acres, guaranteeing absolute privacy. Each bedroom features a king-size bed. The living space includes a well-equipped kitchen and a living area featuring comfy sofas and fireplace,

Peace Ridge is a seven-minute drive to the slopes of Whiteface Mountain and a very scenic, twenty-minute drive to busy Lake Placid. Hiking, fishing, dining, biking, swimming, and all that the Adirondacks is famous for is within minutes of your doorstep.
