Winter Bird Walk and Snowshoe at Newcomb’s Adirondack Interpretive Center

The Adirondack Interpretive Center in Newcomb invites you on a Winter Bird Walk. SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry hosts guest birder Mick Salz, who will kick off an informative morning walk teaching participants how to identify specific species of the abundant winter finches visiting Adirondack bird feeders. Guests can then strap on snowshoes for an easy trek on the AIC trails to spot more birds. Snowshoes will be provided, and pre-registration is required. Email aic@esf.edu with your details. Or call 1.518.582.2000 for more information.
