Kick-Off Saranac Lake’s Winter Carnival — A tradition since 1898

For 10 days in February, Saranac Lake in the Tri-Lakes and High-Peaks region of New York State in the Adirondack Mountains turns into a magicalwith winter wonderland. Known as Winter Carnival, the town goes all out to create 10 winterly fun-filled days for the whole family. Just check out the schedule for Day One.

All Day "Roman Around Space" Clue Hunt--Can you solve the clues to navigate your way through town and past all the Roman Gods and Goddesses of Space? (Available 24/7 outside the History Hut and Gift Shop near the Ice Palace)

5:00 pm - 8:00 pm *Make Your Own A-Roman Therapy Bath Bombs ($, ADK ArtRise, 62 Main St.)

5:30 pm *Art Opening--"Hearth" by Michael Burpoe (Exhibit runs through March 1, Adirondack Artists Guild, 52 Main St)
