Lake George’s annual 4th of July Fireworks have become an annual tradition for many in the Southern Adirondacks. You’ll want to arrive early to claim your spot for viewing, bring your picnic basket or grab a hot dog or burger at one of the local eateries on Canada Street, set up your blanket or chairs, and then kick back and get ready to enjoy an All-American celebration.

For a truly special experience, watch the show from one of Lake George’s several cruise ships offering fireworks dinner cruises.

The action blasts off at 9:30 pm, and then it’s 15 minutes of spectacular fireworks.

Of course, this is the Adirondacks; displays are weather-dependent, and dates are subject to change. The rain date is Friday, July 5. Call Lake George Village at 518-668-5771 to check to make sure the show’s a go.

For any fireworks questions, updates and/or rain date information, please see the Village of Lake George Facebook page - all updates will be posted there.
