This is the last weekend for Fort Ticonderoga’s magnificent corn maze. Every fall, people flock to Fort Ticonderoga to explore the fun and unique puzzle on Lake Champlain's shores.
Each year, the maze takes shape in a new, unique design, and guests return faithfully to get lost in this lifesize riddle that includes history clues among towering stalks of corn.

If you didn’t get a chance to catch TayTay on the road this summer, you can see her performing live on tape on the silver screen at the State Theater in Tupper Lake.

Prepare to photograph 2024’s total solar eclipse with this course led by renowned Adirondack photographer Carl Heilman.
October 14 is a perfect time to learn more about solar eclipse photography. A 30% annular solar eclipse will peak at 1:17 PM on that date. Carl designed this workshop to prepare photographers for the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024.

Hill and Hollow presents the world-renowned Alexander String Quartet. Taxidermy Workshops — The esteemed Adirondack Experience in Blue Mountain Lake hosts two workshops in late October. Choose the Mouse Taxidermy Workshop or the Jackalope Workshop on October 28 and 29, respectively.
Goblin Gallop — It’s the 30th annual running of the Goblin Gallop in Glens Falls, “So fast, it’s scary.” And it’s a lot of fun. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes for this spooktacular event. There is also a 1K for Lil’ ADKers. Race day is Saturday, October 28.
