  • Preston Festival Field 1135 Springfield Road Wilmington, NY, 12997 United States (map)

Looking for a Challenge?

Race the 8-mile course up New York’s 5th tallest mountain.

If you like a challenge, this is the course for you. This USATF-certified course covers 8 miles over an 8% grade up Whiteface Mountain's scenic Veterans' Memorial Highway. Whiteface Mountain is New York's fifth highest peak with 360-degree panoramic views of the Adirondacks, New England, and Montreal.

The race starts at the Visitors Bureau in Wilmington. Packet pickup and parking will be from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Preston Festival Field, 1135 Springfield Road, Wilmington (just around the corner from the starting line). Packet includes the bib, tee-shirt, and meal voucher.

There is a rolling start instead of a mass start. Racers will get a timing chip with their bib.

Don't feel comfortable riding your bike back down? You may have someone meet you at the top. Event organizers will sell spectator passes at registration. These are cash only and a per-person price.

Results will be posted at auyertiming.com.
