The Tannery Pond Center in the Gore Mountain region of the Adirondacks hosts an introduction to Raptors.

Visit the Tannery Pond Communicty Center in North Creek on Saturday, November 11th, from 11 a.m. to 12 for a fascinating program featuring these spectacular birds.. The free event will cover the intriguing behavior, natural habitats, and jaw-dropping hunting skills of Adirondack Raptors. Don't miss out!

Raptors include owls, hawks, eagles and falcons. All birds of prey have remarkable adaptations and skills for survival in the wild, and all are breathtakingly beautiful and fascinating to watch.

Admired for their strength, speed and astounding grace, raptors are some of the most successful hunters in the animal kingdom. Their fierce independence and tenacity have been the source of admiration for the species for countless generations.

Silent Wings Raptor Rehab & Education Program from the Wildlife Institute of Eastern NY delivers this amazing program, based on their deep expertise. It will surely be an evening to admire. to fascinate everyone.
