Once again, the event organizers have assembled an exciting roster of competitive events and fun spectator activities that guarantee a great time for the whole family.

  • Women's and Men’s Individual Cross Country Skiing events

  • More Ice Hockey

  • Women’s Giant Slalom

  • Speed Skating

  • Women’s and Men’s Nordic Combined event — Ski jumping with a x-country skiing component

  • Curling

  • Women’s and Men’s Freestyle & Freeski/Snowboard: Slopestyle W/M Qualifiers — competitors race down a designated course, hitting a variety of obstacles, jumps, and rails and doing backflips or other “impossible” acrobatic tricks

Other entertaining options for spectators include live music, ice sculpting, S’mores, Fire Dancing, snowball cornhole tournaments, and medals ceremonies. Be sure to check the schedule so you don’t miss a thing.

The FISU World University Winter Games are the largest winter multi-sport collegiate athletic competition in the World. Lake Placid, the Adirondacks, and New York State have the honor of hosting the 2023 games.

Can’t make it to the ADK for these events? Worry not. ESPN and ESPN+ will combine to carry nearly 160 hours of the 11-day Winter Games, Jan. 12-22, 2023.

And FISU.tv will stream the whole dang event live.
