We’re excited to see Tannery Pond Center’s presentation of the holiday classic “It’s a Wonderful Life,” performed as a live radio play by Gem Radio Theatre.

The stage is set at the WADK radio station during the golden days of radio, and a handful of actors have gathered to bring “It’s a Wonderful Life” to the airwaves. The audience experiences the magic of radio as a small cast voices over 30 parts, and the foley artist creates sound effects live using a unique array of props to bring the story of George Bailey to life.

The sentimental tale of “It’s a Wonderful Life,” told through this simulated radio broadcast, will fill your heart with holiday cheer and remind us, through George’s story and a miracle named Clarence, why life is so wonderful.

This event is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council.
