Kick-Off 3 Days of Birding Adventure at Paul Smith’s
Enjoy a day-long excursion to great birding spots in the ADK.
The Great Adirondack Birding Celebration (GABC) is designed to introduce birders of all ages and skill levels to the unique boreal bird species and habitats in the Adirondack Park.
This three-day-long celebration is hosted by Paul Smith’s Visitor Interpretive Center and features birding field trips to local Important Bird Areas (IBAs) and presentations by accomplished ornithologists. Field trips have limited capacity, so be sure to register soon.
On Friday, June 2, the first day of the Great Adirondack Birding Celebration, two day-long outings are offered.

The fun continues on Saturday and Sunday with an array of half-day field trips and other events at the Visitor’s Interpretive Center.
