Are you ready for a little adventure? If so, don’t miss the latest chapter in Fort Ticonderoga's story. The historical site has been bustling with activity all winter, preparing for its big reveal this year on May 6.

With innovative storytelling and immersive tours, visitors to can immerse themselves in the world of 1760, where British and American Provincial soldiers make their final push into French Canada. Each day, visitors will bear witness to the thrilling events of that day in 1760. They will have an opportunity to see the inner workings of the Fort and weapons demonstrations and explore endless outdoor activities while taking in the stunning views of Lake Champlain. But perhaps most exciting of all is the chance to see the British-occupied fort in the years just before the American Revolution.

Fort Ticonderoga is one of our favorite places to visit in the Adirondacks. It’s a great time for families and visitors of all ages. In addition to the rich history of the Fort, visitors can also:

  • Enjoy the spectacular gardens

  • Drive up nearby Mount Defiance for breathtaking views of the Fort, Lake Champlain, and Vermont

  • Take a cruise about the historic Carillon boat on Lake Champlain

  • Meet Fort Ticonderoga’s oxen, Mick and Mack

So grab your tri-corn hat and get ready to travel back in time.
