Get Ready for Greatness! Build Your Cardboard Sled for the Krazy Cardboard Sled Race

Chestertown’s annual Krazy Downhill Derby is one of the highlights of the winter season. And Lil’ ADKers are welcome to get in on the action. The North Warren NY Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Build Your Cardboard Sled event on Monday, February 20, at the Dynamite Hill Warming Hut in Chestertown.

The Chamber provides all the materials free of charge — boxes, tape, markers, etc. Of course, participants are free to schlepp their own supplies, too. Lil’ ADKers are known to be a Klever Krew, so we’re sure they’ll have plenty of Kreative ideas for their Derby-winning Kardboard Konveyance (okay, that was some award-winning alliteration right there).

The workshop is from 11 to 3 pm at the Dynamite Hill Warming Hut on Dynamite Hill Road off of Route 8, less than a mile west of the North Warren Central School.
