Plattsburgh is the site for the 46th annual Mayor’s Cup Regatta and Festival on Saturday, July 8 and 9. Hosted by the Sunrise Rotary Club, this highly-anticipated event features fun for the entire family.
The competition begins Saturday morning with races in three divisions — Cruising, Racing, and Multihull — on spectacular Lake Champlain, once designated as a Great Lake. For 18 days. But that’s another story.
In addition to the Regatta, the Mayor’s Cup Festival offers two days of fun diversions for everyone, including kayak rides, a 5K run/walk, volleyball, sand sculpting, live music, food, a cornhole tournament and more.
