Plattsburgh is the site for the 45th annual Mayor’s Cup Regatta and Festival on July 9. Hosted by the Sunrise Rotary Club, this highly-anticipated event features fun for the entire family.

The competition begins Saturday morning with races in three divisions — Cruising, Racing, and Multihull — on spectacular Lake Champlain, once designated with Great Lake status. For 18 days. But that’s another story.

In addition to the Regatta, the Mayor’s Cup Festival offers fun diversions for everyone, including kayak rides, a 5K run/walk, volleyball, sand sculpting, live music, food, a cornhole tournament and more.
